Three Gables is a spacious five-bedroom village home, tucked away at the end of a private drive, boasting beautiful countryside views and a generous garden—ideal for families or groups of friends to enjoy together. It’s the perfect setting for celebrations and creating lasting memories.
The property comfortably sleeps up to 10 adults, with a toddler bed and two travel cots also available. There are four bathrooms, and the house welcomes up to four dogs, making it a great choice for pet-friendly stays.
Designed with sustainability in mind, Three Gables is an eco-friendly retreat powered by a state-of-the-art solar PV system and solar thermal water heating. An electric car charging point is also available, making it an excellent option for environmentally conscious travellers.
We’re proud to have received Gold in the Isle of Wight Green Tourism Awards for the second consecutive year.
Set at the end of a private drive, the property offers ample parking for four or more cars. The house comfortably sleeps up to 10 adults across five bedrooms and features four bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. Two ground-floor bedrooms make it especially suitable for guests who prefer to avoid stairs, and a toddler bed along with two cots are also available. The property is pet-friendly, welcoming up to four dogs, and benefits from a secure garden.
Inside, the house is bright and spacious, with a bespoke kitchen featuring a large dining table and seating for 10, as well as a generous lounge area where everyone can relax together. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
It’s an ideal base for large families or groups of friends looking to spend quality time together, whether for a short break or a longer holiday. Thanks to the island’s microclimate, the weather is often milder and more pleasant than in other parts of the UK, making it a great year-round destination.
Large windows and patio doors fill the house with natural light, creating an airy feel, while excellent insulation and central heating ensure it remains warm and cosy in cooler months. Solar thermal panels provide hot water during warmer periods, and recently installed solar photovoltaic panels help further reduce the property’s carbon footprint. Guests with electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles can also make use of the on-site Zappi EV charger.
A seasonal shop is just a two-minute walk away (open March to November), while a village shop in Shalfleet, 1.5 miles away, is open year-round. There are also three pubs within a two-mile walk, and a bus stop is located less than 50 metres from the drive.
The nearest beach at Brook is just three miles away, with the award-winning Compton Beach a further half mile along the coast. Local towns, attractions, and amenities are all within easy driving distance, including Newport, the island’s county town, just six miles away, and the historic harbour town of Yarmouth, only three miles away.
With easy access to footpaths, cycle routes, beaches, and towns, the property is perfectly located for exploring everything the island has to offer.
