Experience the charm of lakeside living at Heron’s Nest, where traditional character blends seamlessly with modern comfort in our handcrafted Shepherd’s Hut. Set beside the tranquil waters of the lake, the hut enjoys picturesque views across the water and surrounding wildlife, while offering luxurious touches including a wood-fired hot tub, fire pit, and high-speed WiFi.

Heron’s Nest features a king-size bed, a fully equipped kitchenette with sink, Ninja air fryer, hob, and fridge/freezer, as well as a private bathroom with shower. Guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor dining areas, a fire pit with BBQ grill, and a wood-fired jacuzzi hot tub complete with lights and bubbles.

On arrival, you’ll be welcomed with beautiful lake views and a complimentary hamper filled with locally made Sussex treats. Wood and fire lighters are provided free of charge, with additional supplies available throughout your stay if needed. Your hot tub will also be lit before arrival, ensuring it is warming up in time for check-in.

Please note that Heron’s Nest is located within a small fishery, and during the summer months there are usually anglers around the lake.
