The cottage sits on the picturesque lane known as ‘The Londs’, which leads straight to the beach—perfect for visitors wanting to enjoy the best of this coastal location.
Dating back to around 1860, Gardeners Cottage has been cherished by the owner’s family for generations. Filled with happy memories, it has been lovingly furnished and decorated while preserving many original features, including the classic sash windows, giving the cottage a timeless character.
Downstairs
On the ground floor, the cosy living room is beautifully furnished and features polished wood flooring. A soft rug lies in front of the fireplace, complete with a wood-burning stove—perfect for lighting up and settling in with a good book or a film. Modern entertainment needs are met with a digital TV and DVD player.
Adjacent to the living area is the spacious kitchen/dining room, also with wood flooring and a feature fireplace. It’s fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a washer/dryer for convenience during your stay.
Ground Floor Bedroom
At the rear of the cottage, off the dining area, is a ground-floor bedroom with a king-size bed. This private room benefits from its own ensuite bathroom, providing comfort and privacy.

Step out the back door into the well-maintained, enclosed rear garden, which stretches alongside the house. Garden furniture and a BBQ are provided, creating the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Upstairs, you’ll find the Victorian-style bathroom, featuring a WC, wash basin, and a shower over the bath. Both upstairs bedrooms are furnished with reproduction Victorian-style bedsteads, including a luxurious king-size bed in the master and two cosy twin beds in the second bedroom across the hall.
