Each two-bedroom apartment has its own private entrance, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living space, making it ideal for larger groups who want to stay together while still having their own space to relax.
When booked as Alnwick House, the property comfortably sleeps up to eight adults across four bedrooms. For larger groups, each apartment’s lounge can also accommodate an additional two guests on a double sofa bed, increasing the total capacity to up to 12 guests.
Whether you’re travelling with family, friends or a larger group, Alnwick House offers the flexibility to spend time together while still having plenty of room to spread out and unwind.
The Space
Beautiful Alnwick House combines Apartment I and Apartment II to create a spacious and versatile four-bedroom property, making it an ideal choice for families, larger groups, friends travelling together or contractors.
Together, the two apartments comfortably sleep up to eight guests across four bedrooms — two king-size bedrooms and two double bedrooms. For larger groups, a double sofa bed is available in each lounge by prior arrangement, increasing the total capacity to up to 12 guests.
Ground Floor — Apartment I
The ground-floor apartment features a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, alongside a comfortable double bedroom and a separate family bathroom.
The generous living room has plenty of seating and a Smart TV, while the open-plan kitchen and dining area provides a sociable space for meals and gatherings. The large dining table can comfortably seat up to 12 guests, making it particularly useful when the entire house is booked.
Top Floor — Apartment II
The top-floor apartment offers a comfortable king-size bedroom, a double bedroom and a contemporary family bathroom.
The spacious lounge features comfortable seating and a Smart TV, while the modern open-plan kitchen and dining area provides everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals together.
Kitchens & Facilities
Both apartments are stylishly furnished with generous living spaces and fully equipped kitchens, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster.
Guests also have access to a secure, pet-friendly shared courtyard with outdoor seating and a dining table — a lovely space to relax, enjoy a meal outdoors or spend time with your four-legged companions.

If you’re travelling by car, the property is easy to reach, with free on-street parking available directly outside or nearby.
A car isn’t essential, however, as Alnwick House is less than a four-minute walk from the town centre. Alnwick is also well connected by local bus services, making it easy to explore the surrounding area without driving.
The X20 provides a direct route to Newcastle, travelling through scenic Northumberland locations including Alnmouth and Amble.
The X18 connects Newcastle with Berwick-upon-Tweed, with stops including Morpeth, Amble and Seahouses.
For rail connections, Alnmouth train station is just a short drive or bus journey away, providing services to destinations including Edinburgh, Newcastle and London.
For guests travelling by air, Newcastle International Airport is approximately 34 miles away, offering convenient access for both domestic and international visitors.
Accessibility
Apartment I — Ground Floor
The ground-floor apartment has a small step into the house, another small step down into the kitchen and a small step leading into the rear courtyard. It also benefits from a downstairs shower room.
The apartment may be suitable for some guests with restricted mobility, depending on their individual needs. However, the property is not wheelchair-friendly due to the available space and the small steps throughout.
Apartment II — Top Floor
Apartment II is accessed via stairs and is therefore not suitable for guests with restricted mobility.
